Biography, scientific achievements

He made a significant contribution to the development of the foundations of the mechanization of animal husbandry and the improvement of the methods of theoretical mechanics. Substantiated the methodology for applying a systematic approach for energy and resource saving in animal husbandry. He took part in the development of methods for improving the agro-bioenergy efficiency of crop production. Leads research to ensure sustainable production and multifunctional use of winter rye grain, as a priority crop for northern agriculture. One of the developers of recommendations for the development of the agro-industrial complex and rural areas of the Non-Chernozem Zone of the Russian Federation until 2030. Author of over 530 scientific publications, including 50 monographs and recommendations, about 100 copyright certificates and patents of the Russian Federation for inventions that promote rational environmental management and resource conservation.
