Biography, scientific achievements

A well-known highly qualified specialist in the field of botany. Author and co-author of more than 290 papers, including 22 monographs and one patent. Over the past five years, she has published 66 papers, including eight monographs and 20 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals included in the international citation databases Web of Science and Scopus. Hirsch index according to the Scopus database - 4, according to the RSCI database - 19. S.V. Degteva made a great contribution to the development of fundamental problems of geobotany and forest typology. She studied the diversity of vegetation cover, analyzed its transformation as a result of the impact of the anthropogenic factor, proposed and developed an original classification of deciduous forests of the Komi Republic. Proposed by S.V. The tar system of ecological-coenotic groups of vascular plant species for the landscapes of the Upper and Middle Pechora basins was highly appreciated by the scientific community. For more than 20 years, he has been coordinating the work of maintaining the Red Data Book of the Republic of Komi.
